Man Arrested After Issuing Bomb Threat At Tyler Perry Studios

Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta had a crazy Friday the 13th. According to TMZ, the studio received a call from a man demanding to meet with Perry and making terrorist threats. Arrasheed Coles was eventually recognized as the man. Coles allegedly began babbling gibberish after the receptionist declined. They then hung up and blacklisted the number, but later uncovered the bomb threat on a voicemail. Local authorities were contacted at that point, and a report was filed. Coles was found rather quickly. At the Fulton County Jail, he was arrested on a felony charge. Coles rushed to Instagram after being freed on a $5,000 bond to claim that the studio stole his idea for a Black Wall Street television series. "I was arrested by TYLER PERRY STUDIOS FOR TERRORISTIC THREATENING," he captioned a copy of the police report. The question is, WHY did I threaten them if I did? ARE THEY ATTACKING MY TV SHOW? "WALL STREET IN BLACK." "WAIT TILL I TELL MY SIDE, MR. THIEF PERRY," he has said subsequently. Theyll have to pay." Tyler Perry Studios, a 330-acre property that houses productions such as Black Panther and The Walking Dead, first opened its doors in 2019. Perry wants his studio to be one of the countrys largest production centers. With a planned theater district, retail businesses, and restaurants, it will not only provide entertainment but also cheap housing and work prospects once it opens to the public.
